Matform Donate PA System to North Mundham Primary School

Matform has enabled a school in West Sussex to take delivery of an early Christmas present.

The company has given North Mundham Primary School a new state-of-the-art public address system complete with wireless microphone.

The PA system was officially presented by Matform’s Managing Director, John Kelly.

“We became aware of the school’s need of this specialist equipment and decided to donate it as part of our ongoing programme of community projects,” said John, whose daughter Grace (5) is a Year One pupil at the school.

Headteacher Julia Carey said that the equipment had been on the school’s wish list, and she was both surprised and delighted at the outright donation.

“We were astounded by the generosity and we will be able to put it to good use at lots of events, particularly on Sports Day and at our Summer Fayre,” she said.

Also on hand to officially receive the PA system was Tony Atkins, Chair of Governors at the school, which has 208 pupils on roll.

“ We are incredibly grateful to Matform as the donation of this equipment now gives us the flexibility to fundraise within the school for something else.”

Welcoming the guests to the school for the official presentation were “Toad, Rat, Mole and Badger”, aka Year 6 pupils Louis, Katherine, Chloe and Louis, who were busy rehearsing for the school’s Christmas production of Wind In The Willows.

The PA system was successfully put to the test at the school’s Christmas bazaar which made a profit of £1,760.
