Matform Help in Getting Lions’ Book Exchange Scheme on Right Track
7th July 2009

Matform has given Bognor Regis Lions Club a helping hand to hit on a novel way of keeping rail passengers reading through the recession.
A dedicated bookcase has been installed at the town’s railway station and travellers are being encouraged to "rent a book" for their journey.
They are being asked to place a small donation of around 50p into a special collection box and all money raised will be spent locally on Lions Club charities.
Matform assembled and modified the bookcase and supplied the signage and collection box.
The official handover was made by Matform's Managing Director, John Kelly to Bognor Regis Lions Club President Allan Pridie.
The bookcase was donated by Matform's Chairman, Harry Shute, who is a prospective Lion.
"Matform is very happy to be associated with this community book-exchange fundraising scheme. It's an innovative way to promote reading especially now when "book money" may be tight for some people, and it’s a great opportunity to recycle books at the same time," said Mr Kelly.
On behalf of the Bognor Regis Lions Club, Mr Pridie thanked Matform for its generosity and involvement with the scheme.
