New Order Keeps Staff in Buoyant Mood

Matform has secured a prestigious order with one of the world leaders in emergency beacon equipment.

They have been appointed to manufacture and supply two different types of labels for Portsmouth-based McMurdo, a division of Signature Industries Ltd.

The contract, which is worth £90,000, will see Matform labels used on a range of electronic products for the marine safety market. McMurdo, which was established in 1937, are recognised market-leaders in the development and manufacture of emergency location beacons and NAVTEX technology.

Their safety equipment is exported around the world for use on land, sea and air.

"We are delighted to have secured this contract with such a prestigious company," said Matform's Sales Director Paul Down.

"Matform have been doing work for McMurdo for the past five years and over that time have built up a good relationship. We believe that this latest contract has been won as a result of our sustained business partnership."
